A complete guide to the ancient fire ritual, made simple for modern homes.

Hawan is one of the oldest continuous spiritual practices on earth — a Vedic fire ritual performed to purify space, offer gratitude, and connect with the divine. With a Pooja Fresh cup and a match, you can perform a complete hawan in 5 minutes in your apartment.

What You Need

1 Pooja Fresh hawan cup (any fragrance)
A copper thali, steel plate, or ceramic coaster
A match or lighter
2–3 minutes of quiet

Step 1 — Prepare Your Space

Choose a clean, flat surface away from curtains and flammable materials. Open a window slightly. The ritual creates the sacred space — the space doesn’t create the ritual.

Step 2 — Set Your Intention

Hold the cup in both hands for a moment. Decide what you are offering today: gratitude, a prayer, a release, or simply your presence. Your intention is the most important ingredient.

Step 3 — Place the Cup
